E7 code displayed

I got a ZOOM 70-X PENTAX which has a problem.
I insert a film in. The film is loaded automatically up to the display shows "1".
I then shoot my first picture. Seems to work but the film does not go forward up to the position 2 and display shows code "E7" .

Any help ???

Sorry to tell you that's an error code that signifies the camera needs service attention. If you send it back to Pentax UK they can give you an estimate for repair. As a club member you then get 20% discount off the cost.
