On the other forum they have E Books for sale in the USA. Does anybody know if they can be bought in the UK? I don't mean from the USA but actually in the UK? I would be interested in a one for the K3ii and the K1. All you need to know and more.
CHEERS Vic.
I have the K1 ebook from the Pentax Forums site. You can pay by credit card or paypal. It is a simple download.

The guy that does the Ebooks is also a member on this site. So no problems.

Hi Vic, he's been retired a few years now, but still does the books. Last one was the K-1 ii in April 2018.
I'm quite sure it's only done from the US (or is it Canada). There's an email on the site so send him an enquiry.

If it is an ebook, you download it, it doesn't matter where in the world it comes from. Eg Amazon Kindle.

Hi John. Yes I know you download them but it's paying for them in $ and the exchange rate???. I'll have a think about it.

The exchange rate doesn't vary that much - if you assume 1:1 and it still seems reasonable, the inevitable reduction from the true exchange rate is only a bonus. Via pay-pal IIRC you'll actually see the rate the transaction happens at before confirming the payment.

Why pay for them in USD if they can be obtained from the author with GBP?

Thanks Ian. Is it any good? is there anything to learn from it that is not in the owners manual? I'm thinking of the K3ii and the K1.

i have had a quick scan through it, havent really read it properly but less than £12 for a 325 page book is good value.
