I saw this the other day, and found it very disappointing and a bid sad...

Funny to see that everyone is making there own figures, Dpreview had some other results for example... it's hard to believe which one is true... maybe there are even difference in the test might influence things.
I'm not saying it isn't true since, they are, just saying that real world experiences might be different then lab tests

I've heard though that some K7 user find it more noisy then the K20D. I believe we did some test which noise was easier to clean up, wasn't it that of the K7?
Some feedback on that might be useful

The numbers are just that, numbers. Look at an image and see if you can name the camera that created it?

Has anybody considered evaluating cameras based on how the pictures look to the human eye?

Or is that not considered relevant to the pixel-peeping fraternity?

According to them its better than the K-7 in every respect bar High ISO and theres not THAT much in it.

Well all I can say is my photos look better in Windows 7 than they do in Vista, so you can look at as many figures as you like but for me it's your eyes that count at the end of the day, so to speak

Next you will suggest evaluating Hifi by listening to it rather than looking at the pretty lights on the front.

You have screen and print.
With Screen it's 1:1 pixel magnification and print is 300dpi 8"x12" print comes down to 8mp at full print size.
