Do you format your cards regularly? if not perhaps that might explain the glitch? (Just clutching at straws here!)

Thanks everyone. it seems the card has something to do with it because when I switched for another card everything went well. Three attempts with the original card ended up in failure.

It's worth trying to clear the card on a PC and then try formatting it in the K-x again if you haven't already tried that.

I recently used the dust alert to see if i had missed any after removing a speck. All was well but a little later when I wanted to take a picture I got a message saying the image could not be saved! And then, there was a bug when trying to review the pictures. The red light would light indicating access to the card and then nothing, it would just stay on. Not even turning off the K-x would close the red light! I reluctantly removed the card and placed it in the card reader of my computer. Everything was ok. I saved all the pictures replaced the card in my K-x and formated the card. Everything is good since.
What happened?
