Lovely set. No 3 is unbearably cute but I would crop a sliver off the bottom. Number 5 is just wonderful.

2 and 3 are excellent. Prefer the duck in 3, but the background in 2.
5 and 6 are good but I think both would have been better with more breathing room.

Nice set. I love the vibrant background colours. I have been trying (and mainly failing) to get some decent pics of ducklings recently but they don't half shift! I think my fave is probably bums up as well, although I might trim a little off the bottom.
Really good stuff though

Three is pukey cute. 5 is good but would be excellent with just a bit more space.

Kinda lucked out with the backgrounds, but know that I know how, will be trying more often as they definately stand out well.
The 'bottoms up' shot was one of those lucky moments that was seen out of the corner of the eye so had to work quickly so that I didn't miss the shot. Need to learn to think and react quicker to get a better result and having the zoom gives me fewer excuses!
Both shots 5 & 6 are uncropped but quickly learned about reflections after reviewing the Mandarin Duck. That resulted in changing the focus point from centre point to the one just above it for when shooting prone! Results from that tip included the coot in the first shot.
Getting there though, just need more practice, practice, practice!
Now if anyone can show me a decent kingfisher location locally I'd appreciate it!

The 1 and 2, I find that having a background color a little too unnatural.
The 5 is something fantastic, complimeni.
The 4 is very expressive, the latter is ... ever, an animal so beautiful and strange

Most of these were taken whilst lying on the ground with the tripod foot of the lens resting on the ground as well. This was the first time using the big gun off the tripod!
