Have to pop over to Dubai on a work visit pretty soon. Wondering if anyone has any photography-related advice for while I'm over there.

Is photography allowed in public places?
Is it a good place to get some Pentax bargains?
Are there any must-shoot places?
...that kind of thing.

My guess would be to get a helicopter flight of some sort! With all the building work going on there, could be the only way to see and appreciate it!

Man made islands:- The Palm & The World

Worlds tallest building in construction.

Worlds largest Shopping centre,

the list just continues to grow, and I would love to see it from the air!

Was there last May, stayed at the wonderful Rotana Beach:

Also visited the shopping centre:

Even took a lot of pictures inside the mall, no restrictions.

Make sure you visit the Gold Soukh. Closed when I was there.
Have a safe journey.
Best regards
