These first 2 shots are of the creek running behind my house usually you cant see it from the back fence. Its the first time in 14 years i have seen it this high

I hope you're through the worst of it Clarky, but on a positive side, think how many bugs it will bring out for ya!

Tell me about it,

I emigrate over here for some sun and so far its seems to have rained continously. Although in Frenchs Forest we seem to be on some quite high ground and there isn't much standing water.

Thats a shame about you downstairs room mate, did much get damaged ?

You must have brought that good English weather with you But i won't complain to much

The plasterboard walls are wet and may need replacing or repairing i won't know until it drys out. But the rest of the gear should be ok.

So you are in Frenchs Forest i see, well thats a very nice part of Sydney.
Have you had a chance to get out yet :

Hi Mate,

Not had the chance to go out yet, all my cameras and equipment are in a big blue container leisurely cruising over from blighty. I didn't have enough room in my suit case for anything and didn't want to risk the hand baggage restrictions incase it ended up taken from me and given to some monkey thow it in to the hold !

It all should arrive around the 28th Feb, then I have to go search for a decent/reputable processing house and film supplier (got any recomendations ? from before you went digital )

I got a new (to me anyway) MX for christmas and I've not even run a film through it yet so that will be the first one to play with

I hope theres not to much damage in your house mate, at least the plasterboard can be replace relatively easily, I'll keep my fingers crossed that the insurance company dont have 'too much work on' to sort it, like the unfortunate people in Blacktown.

The guy i used to use closed up shop in my neighbourhood and i haven't used anyone since i went to digital.
And i haven't used anyone in your neck of the woods, but there should be a few in the area and you are not far from the city centre.

Ran out and took this when I got home from work, no light and the lens was faulty (front focusing). It has now been replaced.

Hope your house doesn't end up like this one!!!!!!!!
