Nowhere near " Amin grade material " Actually.....it is the first time I tried it. And I must confess, I liked the exercise.

Martin, that really will take some beating from me
You turned a simple droplet into a pure artistic form all over. Rather than just a drop you have made it look wonderfully attractive all over the frame
I like it, definitely a stunner

I like the way the brighter areas of the purple are just closer to the container and as you drift the view outwards it becomes darker.
I can see you have put a lot of thought into the whole composition, as usual with you when you do it you do it well to the minute detail

I better get into the shed, no need for AC today as its bleemingly cold. Will go and play a bit more with water.

Martin, have you got some more shots? Are you going to upload them? Am eager to see them

Thanks for the more than generous words, Amin. But I think you are still waaaay ahead of me
When I started I had in mind all the great examples you have shown us. I wanted to create something different, composition wise that is.
This shot is the only one out of a long series of blurred, out of focus or compositionally wrong attempts
And even with this one, the drops are not critical sharp.
So this is the only one worth uploading. May take another shot at it in the future.

Martin.

Martin.

Nice twist on the subject.
Well worth another punt I reckon.

Thanks Mark,
I will try to give it another shot in the future. It's a kind of addicting subject to explore.

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

Actually looking at it again, I quite like the soft focus on the droplets. The exquisite bowl is sharp enough and because of the compositional twist, the soft droplets are kinda saying, 'I'm not doing the usual thing'.
But having said that, I still wanna see a sharp version so back to the 'shed' Martin.

LOL I nearly spat tea on my keyboard when I read that, thata exactly what I thought!!

Anyway,

Great twist Martin, I love the crackle pattern on the bowl (lampshade)

To give a wake up call boys.........
It's not custard and certainly not a lamp shade

What I used was a small Wedgwood table chandelier filled with milk.
The thing is about 3 inches wide.
The colouring was done afterwards during PP, using masks.

Martin.

Martin.

Martin,

It looks like Amin has started you off on something here Its a really nice first attempt, wish some of my 1st attempts were that good. Would prefer the drops a tad sharper myself, but its still good
