1: SMCP-FA 100mm 1:2.8 or the newer D-FA and WR models which are quite a bit lighter. A Sigma 180mm 1:3.5 DG EX is also a good choice but quite heavy.
2: K20D or K7, DA 12-24mm 1:4, DA* 16-50mm 1:2.8, DA* 50-135mm 1:2.8 or DA* 60-250mm 1:4, D-FA WR 100mm 1:2.8 Macro

My problem is over
Only snag -- since spending a really obscene amount of money dealing with my sitting room , and with a kitchen urgently needing work too [ that will be a re-plastering job too I fear ] I think I'm going to have to win the lottery and then some .

I'm curious John. As TT said "if money was no object", why have you not included any of Pentax's premium * zooms in your collection?

2) If money was no object and you were told to go and buy a Camera body and 4 lenses [ all Pentax of course ] what would you actually chose to put on this list ?
