1st one taken in the garden at Greenway.
2nd and 3rd Slapton Ley nature reserve.
Taken with a Sigma 55-200, all at the 200 end.
C & C welcome.

Hi Pete.
For what it`s worth this is my c&c;
Others more worthy than I may have different views.

No1, far to many colors, the dragonflies are lost in the frame.Weakest shot in the series.

No2, Very nearly there but you have cut off the top part of it`s right leg. Pity, it`s almost a good shot.

No3, Potentially this is the best shot for me but there are a few problems;
"vague" cobwebs below and at the end of the leaf, either get rid or make them more obvious in PS.
I think the DOF in this maybe 1 or 2 stops to short? the head and far eye are just not clear enough, also the leaf looks a bit too smooth, however detail in the wings is there.

Apart from that, good efforts

Thanks Dave, no2 I can re crop to include the right leg.
No3 DOF I agree isn't there.

Hi Gareth

Yeah, Large Red and Common Blue damselflies. the red ones may be Small Red if on the South coast of the UK, but they look like Large Reds to me
