There's some real quality work there Smeggy, especially the mono conversions. But my favourite has to be #3 - it appeals to my sense of juxtapostion.

Some lovely shots, #11 captures a very tender moment. I like the fisheye on #10- the lens curvature compliments the that of the railings.

How cheesed off is #2!

Exciting colours in #12 and I like the composition- I think a lot of people would present it in portrait- I prefer your landscape approach.

I wonder if the security in the area have been re-briefed following the film- I see it is covered in AP this week. That would be a very good result. POWER TO THE PEOPLE

I only visited the place once and thought it soul destroyingly sterile, so I like the way you have shown some real life here. 3 and 6 for me.

1, 6, 10 and 12 hit the spot for me, you have a very interesting view on the world that comes out in your images. They are unusual, powerful and quite perceptive photographs.

I like the black and white people pictures rather less, but particularly because of the quite severe processing effect. I don't think you need that and the images would, for me, be better without it.

Glad to hear you survived the security guards and we didn't end up viewing some conflict on YouTube!
Best regards, John

Some excellent shots there. I really like the bendy #10, not sure what is real bends and what is fisheye bends! No. 1 seems to have a slightly odd (?pink) cast to the sky, although that might be my laptop monitor. I like the juxtaposition of person and statue in No 3. No. 4 is a bit ordinary compared to the rest.

Good work.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Thanks peeps

Today's mini shoot wasn't so much fun. A road traffic accident. Unfortunately I was driving it at 70mph and ran into the back of a car that had braked suddenly. The guy I ran into thankfully was unhurt. I walked free, but my upper body aches to absolutely buggery. I feel like I've done 10 rounds wit Mike Tyson

Sorry to hear about your RTA Smeggy .. but thankfully you are relatively unharmed, a close call. I did exactly that once on the M25 (hire car - crap brakes and ran into the back of a Bentley Sports with rather better brakes - the owner was brilliant, didn't give a damn about his car just my family, all were OK).

I really like #6 & #8 above.

We're thinking of buying an apartment for our daughter in Canary Wharf so sooner or later will have to take a trip over to see the place.

Thank goodness you're not too badly hurt, Smeggy. Nice series with no.s 2 and 6 being particular favourites.
Best wishes,

Cheers peeps

I'm still very sore today and with a really stiff neck, but yup I'm alive that's the main thing.

Crikey that must have scared the life out of you. Hope your feeling better soon.

The ambulance chasers will be contacting you shortly no doubt. I had a very minor bump last year and they still try and contact me and encourage me to make a claim (the accident took place at about 10mph!!with no consequences physically).
