Where in Cape Breton is your derelict church? I'm originally from CB, and love hitting the dirt roads when I'm home with time to do it! Great image - I bet there are others in the series?

Anybody interested in photographing derelict buildings might be interested in this: http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/index.php
Apologies to those who've seen it before, for those who haven't it's a forum dedicated to the art and a useful source of tips on locations. I have to admit that I don't have the bottle to take the photos some folks on there do...

Hi all, would it be wrong to ask Nathan, to repost his entrie in a way it is visible at once, instead of the link he is using now. I don't want to be nitpicking, but now the picture exceeds the maximum pixel count on the longest side and more important, for the judging part, let's not make it a more difficult task as it already is.

I agree and assumed that JR would deal with the issue but he appears to be away at the moment, not least because this week's competition has not been 'stickied' yet.

I agree as well.
It's more enjoyable to not to have to click a link to view a picture, and it's fair for all entrants to have the same size limit.
Entries that don't meet the rules should be disqualified.

Keith, I think the church was near Baddeck where I was based for a few weeks making a BBC Gaelic language TV programme about music festivals. I do have more and the 35mm ones are sitting here ready to be uploaded to my web site, I must look out the medium format ones too. Thanks for a much needed prod!Gartmore,

Whilst there I bought a terrific book, 'Margaree - photographs of Cape Breton' by George C Thomas.
I'll let you know when I've uploaded my snaps.

Sounds like a fascinating project you did around CB; the festivals would provide another fascinating opportunity for photographing some real characters, I bet.
