disassembling the lens of pentax optio s30

hello im a new member from the philippines and i need help about my pentax camera optio s30 model.........the problem is battery depleted and even at microphone mode dont work too unlike some problem i've read in the forum......the lens were stuck and since there's no service center near our province,,, being an engineer,,im the one who try to repair my cam...I already open the case and ive found out that there's an FPC(flexible printed circuit)board near the battery compartment, just below the menu button that was disconnected/detached easily especially if the camera will accidentaly droped.......i already fixed it and luxckily the microphone mode was ok....my problem is the lens....i want it to disassemble so that i can fix it and return to the position....but i dont know what part need first to remove to fix the lens....i wish and hoping help from you guys...please give me a step by step procedure in removing and fixing the lens of Pentax optio s30....thanks.....

Hmmmm.

I would strongly advise against disassembling the lens
(I am an electronics engineer with some experience and wouldn't try it!)

However, you should see a small black worm-drive type screw. From what I can remember it is near the bottom of the camera, at the front. It provides the focus control.
On the end is a screw-driver slot - turn it very carefully and it should put the focus mechanism "within bounds". Just power up and it might just work.

If you can't see what I mean, I'll try and get a photo for you.
