Hi peoples...I am a professional painter/decorator and i'm thinking of upgrading my business with a laptop & a program that can work like the following-say for example- I take a photo of a customers house (interior or exterior) and i can then apply colours (from a huge range-on some form of program..) showing prospective customers the overall projected finish before its started so to speak...
Does anyone have any information or knowledge of any programs that can do this please....I know it may not be cheap but it could be worth it-after all Many thanks guys/gals ....xx

Not sure how good you want it to be or what you would find expensive but is $20 CDN in your price range Kal 10 d?
I bought this software and I found it useful.

Try it on-line http://www.eisoftwareapps.com/BMCANenWEBv2.00/main.asp

Hope it works for you because the price is certainly right.

Interesting link Drew!

I checked out Swatchbox Technologies who wrote the software and there's probably more...

Matt

That's what I love about this site. You share a little bit and you always get back more than you gave. Thanks for that Matt.

I see by what you found that other paint manufacturers have partnered with this software as well. Hopefully Kal 10 D can find a paint dealer in his area that embeds their own colour database into the software.
