Digital Body for Pentax

Hi!
I bought Pentax Mz-7 more than 7 years ago. I was quiet happy with it. I also bought couple lenses: SMC Pentax-FA 1:3.5-5.6 28-80mm, and Sigma DL macro super 1:4-5.6 70-300mm and also Flash AF240FT.
I still want to keep MZ-7 film camera, but was thinking about purchasing digital SLR camera.
As I'm not a professional it is interesting to know if I could buy Pentax Digital SLR camera body which I would be able to use with all above mentioned equipment.

All of your lenses will work with with all Pentax DSLR's. Your flash will work with all of them as well, in manual mode only. The *istD and *istDS DSLR's will use the TTL capabilities of your flash.

Welcome to the forum Alex, as Mannesty says ANY body will be able to use your lenses.

I haven't tried an AF240 flash so I bow to Mannesty here.

The AF240FT is a TTL Auto + High or Low output flash and will only work in TTL with suitably equipped bodies. The *istD and *istDS are the only Pentax DSLR's that support TTL. All the newer bodies support P-TTL.
