What is a dam lens? One especially developed to photograph dams? I don't think so. Not much call for that. Or is it a lens made from boulders and concrete?

The thumbnails didn't look enticing, but actually the images themselves show impressive sharpness.

The photographer whose images I linked in the opening of this thread, has posted some more images during the day. Some of the images have been taken with the DFA150-450 + 1.4x converter. He has specified the basic exif details below each image. The DAM* lens looks promising. Hopefully the DFA150-450 will eventually find its way to shops in Trondheim, so it will be possible to try it out!

It would be interesting to compare this lens with the Sigma 150-500 which is now less than a third of the price.

On what basis are your assumptions founded? Do you have the DFA150-450?
