Not renowned for its Bokeh but the A*200/4.0 Macro at maximum aperture is quite a performer...

Stunning and quite geometrical quality to it.

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, older lenses, and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

A magnificent work of art.

And so is the person using it...

Absolute belter. Cant think of anyone better to be the caretaker of this lens.
Should give it a run more often, it deserves to be used, especially when you see the results.

That's a great shot, how many did you have to do to get it focused bang-on?

All that light moving around, and that precise little point of focus - a captivating image.

Thank you for the kind comments

It took 3 shots, this being the best one My success rate with this type of shot has improved significantly since I've started using LiveView - the white outline that appears on the in focus area(s) has proved to be significantly more accurate than my eyesight But what you see on the rear screen isn't exactly what you see when on the computer, I quite often see effects that make me repeat the shot with slightly different settings, focus or composition.

Really good John... particularly like how the tiny spherical shape of the dew drop is repeated in the bokeh... gives a real balance to the image....
