Some plant material that had seen better days, before these cold, dark days of winter were upon us....

A low-key approach to match the mood of the plants.

All K5, 100mm. D FA Macro.
Redsnapper tripod.
Manual focus & exposure, 2 sec. delay.
Black card b/g.
Window daylight diffused with layers of tracing paper.
Elements 11.

Rose Hips.

Daisies.

Lupin Seedheads

Crocosmia

Any thoughts most welcome.

The 2nd daisy and the Lupin seed head for me.
But a great use for garden waste.
And a great set.
Good shooting

Excellent creativity and planning with the light for these. .... The lighting is so natural looking it could easily be flash 😉

Hey! Come on all you "natural light photographers" ... See if you can do what Coker has done here so beautifully .... Make natural light so good that it looks just like flash!
