Dark clouds are gathering ...

Taken just outside our house. I don't think it's a particularly good picture, just liked the ominous looking clouds and the autumny colours. C&C welcome as always.

I would lose the cars and houses on the right, keeping just the edge of the climbing frame in the image, then I would adjust the levels in the top half of the image to darken the sky and bring out the colour of the foilage.

Thx! I won't be late, as you can see. I like your version - the clouds look even more ominous now. You don't want to know how much I've cropped this image already, but that's not the point, is it. It's the bit that left that counts. Anyway, I like this one, let's see what other people say - if they feel like it. Thanks again!

This was a quick fix I use for a lot of images, it saves using a graduated ND filter on camera to darken the sky.
In Photoshop select the entire image using the rectangular marque tool then enter quick masque mode, I then select the gradient tool and draw a line up the middle (bottom to top) then exit the quick masque, this leaves a graduated selection from top to bottom, ie; whatever you do to the image with adjustments, levels curves, contrast etc. the top half will be affected more than the bottom, I then just play around with the levels.
