Yeay! Will have to have a look next time I'm in WHSmith. I wonder if they cut it much.
Anyway, I noticed on the Pentax website that the DA*16-50mm (sorry, I mean the smc 16-50mm F2.8 ED AL (IF) DA* SDM :lol got the AP 'Zoom lens of the year' award in their 2009 lists. I thought someone on here might have mentioned it.

It was a great moment when it was announced at the awards as it was up against some serious competition. The results were under an embargo presumably to keep the 'surprise' element and to help sell magazines, of course!
What was funny was the face of a chap from a rival manufacturer when the result was announced
Back to the rugby...!

Hi Chris, Give us a clue whos face it was, it can only be one of three, my first guess would be Canon, followed by Tokina, then Nikon, but maybe switch the first two round. It was a great moment when it was announced at the awards as it was up against some serious competition. Go on be a Devil Give us a clue.
But then with my luck I could have got it round the wrong way.

Sadly not, had a read of it in Waitrose the other night, no mention of SRS. Chopped and changed it a bit but overall not too bad.I am intrigued as to how much they edited out though, did they keep the SRS reference in there?
Worst thing though is that I'm now apparently from 'Greater London'. The sprawling mass that is London hasn't quite made it here, yet, thankfully.

Maybe their protecting your identity in case David Adams takes offence and comes round to thump youWorst thing though is that I'm now apparently from 'Greater London'
PS; also got to read it in my local supermarket today, I did note the lack of reference to SRS

Daniel Bridges letter referring to Jessops David Adams and the Pentax non stocking issue..
It makes good reading.
Well done Daniel. You made it and just below the letter of the week.
Also in the mag is talk of Pentax bringing out a medium format digital, magic to a few Pentax users ears.
