Ken
Thank you for the crop and the encouragement

I like the crop it improves the shot a lot. That's the great think about this forum full off good advice and fresh eye's and people not afraid of asking questions and being honest.

once again thank you all for the honesty and keeping me on my toes

James

PS
the size of the print Tim is going to be A3+ I think but I will have to look at the paper work

On looking at this again I think, in my version, I would lighten both girls teeth and eyes by 10%. I meant to mention how much the moving hair adds to the natural look of the portrait.

Nicely done Ken. My own crop was a bit more severe but yours is better. Now that's two things I have learnt today!
I was just trying to remove the shoulder botton right and maintain the original aspect ratio.

I really love the shot, warts and all. My main problem is the soft focus on the girl behind.

But I'd still be happy with it. This sort of thing is hard to get perfect!
Best wishes,

Andrew

A3 sounds very large, won't the missed focus on the front girl be a bit obvious at that size? Sorry to bang on about this, I'm not trying to be difficult, just concerned the client might suddenly notice when it's huge?

Well I've now printed it and framed it and I must say it look's stunning

the soft focus is spot on Tim and the new crop and D&B applied to the image has improved it as well thank you for all the help on this one.

also as you suggested ken I have lightened the teeth and eye by 11% work's well, Thank you all

Glad to hear you got something you were happy with in the end - and hopefully the client will be too!
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...
