Very good but very expensive the Pentax 1.7
It has his own focus part so every lenses even old manual ones have auto focus.

Thanks Barry - I did see that one, but I am a little nervous about buying from China on Ebay. I would want to check they spelt "Pentax" right first.

I've had one from them BNIB shipped from Japan all spelling correct, soft case and all. Tested on DA*300 works fine.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost?

Thanks everyone for your input, didn`t realise they were quite so pricey but then it`s world class kit. Might try the 1.5 kenko from SRS, looking at their image it seems to have the right lettering on the barrel.

Stefan, I have just tested the continuity of the contacts on the 2 X TC. Not all have continuous connections and one connects to two contacts.

Hi Stefan, thank you very much for your help. Yes it is the one in your picture. I tried it today in seriously bright sunlight and absolutely nothing happened.
Cedric
It's very strange since you have the contacts needed, maybe they aren't connected correctly.
Might be worth screwing one open since most new lenses will be SDM only.
