Come on no DA*200 photos?
I believe the 200 isn't that popular on this forum.

It was suggested that the *300mm was a duff lens!....compared to the super dooper *200....no need for any *200 shots!....I think you can see from the shots from the *300 the statement has no foundation!

I must say the DA*300 was indeed very sharp and optically probably just as good as the DA*200 but i had more joy using the later though.
If i had to choose i would go for the DA*200.

So that's how you go birding with a 200mm....
Catch the bird First!
Half Man... Half Pentax ... Half Cucumber

Pentax K-1 + K-5 and some other stuff

it's about the only way with 200mm, that'a why the DA*300 is a better lens and even then I carry 1.5x and 1.7x TC's when's that DA*500 coming out

These were taken with a DA*200mm when I got my first K20D about 3 years ago - it is a very nice lens but I swapped it for a Tamron 70-200 which was far more practical - obviously first choice for owls though

Probably just about the same time as the new DA* 18mm tilt shift lens.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.
