DA* 50-135 loose focus ring

Your lens definitely has more backlash than mine, although the 'click' is the same if I operate my focussing ring quickly. It also looks like your focussing ring action is looser than mine.

Whether that makes my copy better or not I don't know, but this is clearly something that concerns you, so if you can, change the lens. Too many other things in life to worry about!

Yeah when you pay $1200 other things are holding a little bit My cousin asked me today if I took some portraits, he knows that I was waiting for it for a long time and finally got it couple of days ago, and when I answered no he looked at me questioningly... why? little bit astonished ))

I've sent it back for replacement. I've discovered that it also had front/backfocusing on wide angles and it was varying front to back shot to shot

so sad it has stunning image quality, spent 2 weeks testing it and finally gave up. Can't tell you guys how I feel, it's like someone teared my heart out of my chest :/
