Considering the overcast day, those are impressive pictures from what I can see. A little difficult to see if there's any vignetting at f4 from the clouds, but that wouldn't worry me too much. Thanks for the photo's Dan.
I've been warned that if I want to by anything again, ever, I have to sell lenses first As that's the case, my Bigma might become available soon

I think I might be right in thinking that the DA* 300mm as well as the DA* 200mm lenses are full frame so you're not terribly likely to run into vignetting issues.Considering the overcast day, those are impressive pictures from what I can see. Not sure about how cheap I'll post on this forum first if/when I come to sell anything.

Danny, I keep meaning to ask, in your signature it says "1.4x SDM converter". As there isn't an actual designated SDM converter yet, I'm wondering what one it is, as I have a Tamron 1.4x that has the power zoom contacts and was wondering if that would still use the SDM motor, or switch over to the body motor.

First, some ducks, no. 1 is cropped down to about 1/2 the frame. No. 2 is detail shown at 100%. This was at f/4, 1/125s, ISO 100, on my K10D.
No. 3 is a different duck, again at f/4, again cropped down and shown at 100%.
These are looking straight up at the clouds, I was hoping to see how even illumination was, and there wasn't a white wall to point it at. Unfortunately the clouds were a little varying in shade, but it looks good to me.
f/4
f/4.5
f/5.6
Focusing was quick and quiet (first time I've been able to try the DA* lenses out, no-one's got them round my way). A lot lighter than my Tamron too.
