DA* 300, wow!

I was lucky enough to get one of the DA*300 lenses on offer by Amazon last fall. After that I have practically never used the lens, weather has been uninspiring and I did not really get motivation to use it. So much that I was considering selling it.

But we had some wonderful weather the past few days, so I took the DA*300 yesterday and decided to take a few quick shots in the garden......

Well, I do not think I am going to sell this lens anytime soon.

I am not a bird photographer, so my technical skills are really basic in this area, but I am really impressed by the sharpness and colours of this lens.

A couple of my shots, Pentax K-5, monopod and f8. Original photos + cropped (about 100% crop) with only some sharpening in Aperture.
