Cyclamen

It's cyclamen time again and, once more I am thankful for the k1's flippy screen because my poor old frame can't get down there any more!
A lot of people simply throw them out when they are finished as pot plants. Put them in the garden under shrubs and in shady places that
get a little sunshine. They spread quickly.

K1 with a Takumar f3.5 200mm, ISO 100 about f8. You'd be forgiven for thinking it was a Trioplan !
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Got to agree with Karlo - the beautifully rich and deep colours coupled with the superb background highlights just work so well. A 50+ year old lens producing the effect that some are looking for in the latest generation of expensive modern masters - you're continuing to show that a lot can be achieved without the need to spend a fortune David

That's a beautiful image, the colours and out of focus areas are superb.

Lovely bit of photo-art here David with the subdued light really enriching the colour of the flowers
