HI there now I have joined the pentax community with my wonderful new K5 I was wondering how pweople set theirs ip. For example do you use the user settings on the mode dial and if so what do you have it set to? Have you re-assigned the raw-fx button to do something else and if so what?

many thanks
Richard

I will let others answer your question about Custom settings but I have to tell you that you made me laugh!

I was expecting a thread about some form of costumes!

There is a recent interesting thread on the other forum about this:

Some good suggestions, including a genius one about a setting for when you hand your camera to your spouse to take a shot

Personally I also have a high ISO TAv mode for my street shots from the hip, and a -2 stop fill flash mode.

My wife and daughter have knitted a loveley wee matinee jacket for my K20d with matching bootees for my tripod.

Richard, would you like me to change the thread title?
