I am not exactly sure where to put this, competitions or here?

I have just recently signed up to photoSIG, a brilliant imformative and inspiring website.
I came across this link which gives some guidance on critiquing photographs, which is what the site is based on.
I thought it a very helpful guide and could be of help to those judging in our competitions:

Good information. Maybe an idea to take over the general guidlines shown there, completed with the general rules of our competitions and place it as a sticky : I bookmarked the site, immediately It is also very useful for criticizing your own work. Before entering any competition.

Best regards,

It's interesting and contains a lot of good information, but, as with all things on the web, it's only one point of view.

In our competitions I wouldn't want to be so specific as we are doing very well with every winner bringing their own style to the judging.
Best regards, John

Oh I agree totally John, I wouldn't even think about suggesting we should use this as a guide I just thought it was a good prompt for those who were a bit in the dark on critiquing their own work plus others.
