Don very good but you seemed to rush the last part of the video and you could hear it in your voice ( the urgency ) may be a longer still at the end with your contact info.

My comments

I have found that North Americans speak faster than we do - this gave me problems when in the USA earlier this month .

I would say that your oral delivery needs to be a little slower .

Also your contact info needs to be on much longer - I doubt that many folk would have got it written down or memorised by the time the video was over.
let the education continue

Apart from the speed, as you are advertising wedding and corporate services I wonder whether you should be showing images from these areas of activity rather than a statue in a garden/park.

One way to find out if it hits the spot would be to run a poll asking whrther or not the video would entice people to contact you or not. After all, this is its only function.

Although you have shown what you can do with one scene, I think it needs lots of images, rather than just the one.
It needs to have faster transitions, with particular attention to the phrasing of the backing track and this track's volume could be reduced when you speak. If you linger on an image while you are speaking, that will add emphasis.

Well done for getting off your backside and making a promo - it's more than I have done in 15 years of multimedia
It's word of mouth or nothing with me....

'll try to answer all the above comments (so far) with this:

The peice isn't finished yet.
There will be a little more work with one voiceover (rushed at the end) removed and two more added (Gerri has today off and will be doing her voice overs today.

the slow tranquility of this peice is meant to be the cover on a new website.
that means we'll be doing ONE promo peice for EACH service with links to stills and movies on each page, this will allow me to have one promo peice dedicated to specific markets/consumers.

thank you keep 'em comming..

Don,

I tried to view your work on a Linux netbook; couldn't because Quicktime doesn't work under Linux.

You might want to consider how many potential customers you'll lose as a consequence?

I'm sure there are media players that'll work across all platforms.

Thanx Johnx... I tested it on my site for the iphone and the safari browser, some people using firefox and ie have found no issues...

I'll have a revised version of the video clip up soon and will open a new thread to follow John's advice about polling the results...

I'm wondering if I should hold off until I got the other videos ready... this clip is more of a welcome clip.... there are more, 15 sec clips for specific products to be added to other pages yet...
