I agree they do lead the eye. What an unusual bird.Never seen one before.Lovely shot.

I think they migrated from the UK just after PUNK went out of fashion, took the hairstyles with them Anyway we have several species of pigeon left so plenty for you to have a go at Tracey .What an unusual bird.Never seen one before
Nice shot but I would consider cropping it, the bird is too central. I also think the lighting looks a bit flat and it needs the levels tweaking a bit, I thought you only had sunshine in Oz?

I was following this crested pigeon around the garden trying to get a good shot and he finally settled on our roof. I nearly gave up and put the camera away but a quick look through the viewfinder and I liked the way the roof tiles lead my eye to him.
