Hi Jon, that first photo is very cleverly done. I'm sure the result is just what you had in mind when you took it. I say cleverly done because I'm positive if I took that photo it wouldn't be as effective. Almost infrared?

Thanks - I definitely planned for it to be black and white and wanted to maximise the contrast between the leaves and the tree trunk - Nik Silver Efex was really helpful with this one.

For the second image, I had a play with OnOne software, which is an awful lot of fun. I'm obviously going through a phase at the moment. Sooner or later, I'll stop fiddling and start posting more accurate photographs again, but in the meantime please forgive me!
