Thanks Joshua for prompt reply

I have now tritoned this with:

Black
Panatone warm gray 3c
Panatone 400c

Is this like split toning?
Does it improve it overall, what do ya think?

Looking even better Lilly!
Toning adds such richness!!

Also remember that in duotone mode there are specific curves adjustments for each ink colour you add.
Sometimes you may find that the shadows will block up with too much ink, so you can lower it's density, and also create different effects in so doing. You may find a colour you like but it will darken the image too much.

In the duotone window there's the box next to the ink colour that has a line through it, just click on it to bring up the curve adjustment for that ink colour:

Here I lightened the midtones, and applied the same gentle curve to both black and coloured inks:

The possibilities are endless! So play around!

Note: If you make any other adjustments to the duotone ie dodge or burn or levels, make sure you do them before switching back to RGB or it will alter the colours.
