I've done this and even with the right kit, it is extremely hard to get sharp pictures.
My neighbour has a good size reflecting scope and we connected my K10D with adapters and a T-ring.
We tried all sorts of things but couldn't get rid of the distortions and aberrations until the cold got the better of us.
I actually got better shots on an earlier occasion just holding my lens to the eye piece.
We'll probably have another go when the weather warms.

what telescope do you have? My Dad and I have had considerable success with a DL2 on his Celestron C8N. If the scope is large enough to have a 2" eyepiece adapter, it may well be very easy. All we need to mate the DL2 to the C8N is a K mount to T ring converter, and as far as I can see all the larger Celestron and Skywatcher focusers are the same
you don't have to be mad to post here
but it does help

I see T mounts feature a lot but that is all I need ?
Any tips appreciated, thanks !
