As someone once said,

“The complete lack of evidence is the surest sign that the conspiracy is working”

Well, jeff four zeroes, engaging in personal attacks is really going to get you support for your daft conspiracy theories. Where are your pictures, by the way, before you criticise anyone else's?

Why not go somewhere else? I don't think you are winning many friends here, and I don't think you will be missed.
and thats not personal attack ??
i have not got any photos on the site as yet and feel i dont have to
as its for every one and becouse i have said what i think and looked at it you come out with comments like befour and i yet again im the bad guy

yes it should be left to the vote not the winners from the week earler
And how do you stop biassed voting - everyone will vote for themselves so will that be productive? Who should get a vote and what will happen to the critique that is given?

I have just gone back over the last few winners and can see no pattern or cliques emerging.

Tell us EXACTLY what competition theme or judging has been incorrect, biassed, wrong or corrupt.
well there are doing it now and they know it

Jeff, I read your complaint, both here and in the competition section.
If people find Nathan's photo the best so be it.

Believe me it is better to come second in these competitions than first anyway - coming first brings not only choosing the topic, but judging at the end of the week, providing critique on all the entries, which is a lot of work.

It seems odd to me that you complain about these competitions when you have not entered them, and do not seem to have bothered to find out how they work. If your complaint were valid I really believe it would have been picked up before now. It is pure coincidence that Nathan's fine photos won as they did.

You haven't exactly been wildly active since joining, either here or in the gallery so I can't see why you are getting so upset.

Jeff just because you thought they were better doesn't mean the judge did. Nor does it mean the judge is a pal of Nathan. It's not like Nathan wins a prize or anything.
I often am surprised by the winning photos, and think others were better, but it is up to the judge to decide.

Maybe you should enter a few times and see if you can win, and see how hard it is!

Fine that is your opinion, but to immediately accuse someone of cheating is unfair and rude.
State your opinion calmly, but accept the results.
If you think there is a problem contact the mods privately rather than screaming cheat on the forum and in the gallery.

This thread really delivers.

I can't understand why someone would make their entire contribution to the forum to be a stream of badly-spelt incoherent rants, so maybe Link Removed would be a good idea until they have entered the competitions themselves...or even better, won one and discovered that judging is even harder...

Personally I felt the winning entry was fine, I'd suggest looking at the pictures not the names underneath them.
Still shooting in the dark (literally and metaphorically)...

Jeff you just have to accept the Judge's decision. It is pretty common that I personally disagree with the winning entry, but I don't go posting publicly about it. That would be rude

Also if you go back through the last few dozen competitions you will see it is very unusual for the previous judge to win the next competition.

It's just personal taste. Not everyone will agree which is the best photo. That's photography, you'll have to learn to live with it
