Compatibility

Hi! Being new to pentax,Would be grateful if anyone can please let me know if Ricoh Rikenon 1:2 50mm is compatible to be used in K5iis. Do I need to change the setting to work with the camera?

Does the lens have a "P" setting on the aperture ring?
Even if it does Ricohs own pins are usually rounded on the
ends and don't get stuck

I have 2 of these lenses and have used them with no issues on a K200, K20, Kr and K5

This is the lens I was talking about. I did tried using it, but doesn't recognize the focus, it just keeps flashing.

What is flashing? The focus confirmation is the Green Hex. at the base of the viewfinder, not the red square in the middle.

Have sorted, it was my setting.
