K3iii + Pentax 150mm - 450mm @ 270mm - 400 ISO 1/1250 sec handheld ( 24 shots in total 50% sharp and useable )

Shooting conditions dull and overcast hence the murky water colour

That’s excellent, and 50% keeper rate is very impressive as well.

It focuses down to 2 metres so is great for larger insects! Coupled with the new body it looks like a winning combination.

Love 'em! The murky background works for me. And enough blur in the wings to show it's flying.

50% keep rate when just trying to keep these things in the viewfinder is seriously good going just for that!
