Thanks all! Was hoping to get some Hawkers instead but they don't sit around as long as darters.

My biggest problem was that the Southern Hawkers are really curious. Most of the time they were 20 to 30 cm away from me! Made the DA* 300 useless with its 1.4m minimum focus.

A female Southern Hawker tried to cut into and lay eggs both into my t-shirt arm and trouser leg.

I was really lucky to capture the mating pair of Common Darters though. Only a few photos as they made themselves scarce rather quickly.
