Hi All
New user based in Hampshire UK, years back had the K7 then went mirror less but now back with the K3ii and the KP in the post.
Mainly returned due to the limited lenses range, saw one and tested one and was amazed at the sharpness, my favourites at the moment are the 15mm and 20-40mm (could be my favourite lens of all time!)
Hope to see a few of you at the Photography Show in Birmingham, will be there over the weekend as I'm also a sucker for the Comic con photography.

Welcome Derren, you will find the members of this forum both helpful and friendly. Enjoy!
Lots of gear - but not a lot of idea!

Welcome back to Pentax!

Know exactly what you mean about the Ltd's. I had a bit of a flirtation with mirrorless last year (Fuji), but concluded there is very little size/weight advantage from switching if you use the Ltd's... and the quality is top notch.

Be interested to see how you find the KP!

Welcome - and couldn't agree more about the 20-40! If I want an approximate 15mm FOV, I take two overlapping portrait shots at 20mm and stitch using ICE.

And back with a real BANG! K3ii and KP and Ltd. lenses, fun times ahead.

I've recently got the HD 35mm and HD 15mm Ltd's.

I've found the 35mm really easy to use and super sharp.

The 15mm is much more of a handful to use from a compositional and exposure point of view and noticeably soft in the image corners. But I've seen so many amazing images from people using the 15mm I know it can be great, I'll just have to keep trying and learning!

Looking forwards to seeing your images.

Regards
Mike

Thanks Mike,

I have the KP with 15,35,20-40 & 70 limited lens for street and travel and use the K3ii and 16-50 and 50-135 for event stuff. SRS were doing some cracking deals so bought a few more lens than I usually have.....now I need to take some photos!
