I'm not usually in a quandary about this sort of thing but I cant decide which I prefer.

Personally I prefer the mono. The colours do not seems (IMHO) to contribute much to the image.

Best wishes, Kris.

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson

Hmmm - I'm staying out of this one though I'll admit to preferring the colour one because I like the lion's head better in colour

I think colour as it helps to define the reflections. The B&W has a montage feel about it. IMHO.

Colour for once. There's more depth and interest in that one.
Best wishes,

Andrew

I think if it were my pic I would have a go at converting all of it to mono (including the writing on the window),except for the reflection of the sky in the window, which I would leave in colour...it would make the wistful looks on the statues' faces even more poignant.

I would also crop a little off the left hand side, losing the window frame and the partial head, and crop the dark rectangle off the top.

Nice image by the way!!!

Colour for me too. It seems to have greater depth.
