For the 3rd year in a row at the local Camera Club, I have won the "Turner Trophy" for the overall winner from our 3 Open competitions which have categories for both Projected Images and Prints.

This season I also won:
1. our Remote Projected Image competition (photos sent to 3 separate judges who provide their comments via email)
2. British Nature colour print competition.

Also quite a few placings including 2nd in both the mono prints and PI for British Nature (the winners of each, it has since been agreed by the committee, shouldn't have been allowed - a captive Asian Otter, and a still life of conkers)

All winners and placed photos can be seen here: http://www.blythphotographicsociety.co.uk/all-winners-and-chosen-2014-2015.html

Congratulations Alan. Your win wasn't just one competition but a 'league table' for the whole year. Three in a row is an excellent record.

Well done. There are some excellent photographers in your club, but your consistently high standards can't be faulted.

Well done Alan, very much well derserved. Your images do stand out amongst the many (must be due to being shot on Pentax )

You are at the top of a good bunch there of course, although even for 'super-saturated me' I did find the colours in many of the entries, and the processing rather overdone on many. Interestingly, as we are talking about personal styles also on another thread, I noticed some shots by someone called Margaret that seemed to bear similarities to yours .... is there some cross-influence there?

Congrats again of the winning shots.
