Christmas Halos (IOOF and ICM)

More from the bizarre world of IOOF and ICM photography of lights on the Christmas tree. This time, I was waving around the K3 with Tamron 500mm mirror lens attached. And that means the lights become OOF halos (or doughnuts if you prefer) in all their multicoloured glory. Normal service will be resumed when the tree comes down... .

I really like these, different as well as interesting. Gives you ideas that you might not have considered before.

Liking no.5 and 6, the more abstracty images but as a set I think they're all ace and very creative

An interesting set. I do like number 5 and 6 the most, probably due to them being non figurative and abstract. Very nice colours in the last image.

All good for me! Starts off with fairly "standard" stuff and gets more interesting as you go through. Lovely colours.

Is it just me, or does anyone else notice that when you stare at one of the rings with colour in the hole, after a while the hole becomes more prominent than the ring and you find yourself staring at the hole? A new optical illusion??
