Quite like this way of shooting and processing, it turns the everyday featureless image into something a tad bit better!

All Pentax K1, D FA 24-70mm with a 10 stop big stopper.

Agreed.

These are seriously lovely images, Gareth. I'm currently reading an article about Ernst Haas. His photographs of Paris and his comment about photography being 'painting in a hurry', made me think of some of the stuff you are currently creating. Both his work and yours resonate in similar ways.

Thank you for these.

I really like these. It's almost as if they had been done with a pin hole camera. We are so used to tack sharpness and perfection that a bit of primitivity (?) makes a welcome change, forcing you to reappraise the world and its contents.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Lovely work Gareth.

A great video here on this subject which I think might appeal to you.

Hi Gareth,

You don't need to worry about feeling mediocre, you are not! What you have is your own style which is just as valid.

Regards

'I feel very mediocre now! Need to up my game ' I apologise, but I burst out laughing. Mediocre. Really? I think these are exceptional, as do others on this thread. I would so love to be as 'mediocre' as this... Sorry, laughing again.

Then add what MikeInDevon says... (He's another I have a load of respect for with his images.)

May I add a 'pshaw'?
