Chiswick Park in London

I didn't realise you were a neighbour of mine, Opethian.
I think you have done well with these. I find Chiswick Park to be a rather dreary and foreboding sort of place, but you have managed to make it look a bit different, especially in the first image, which is full of drama.
I look forward to seeing what you do with Chinatown.

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

So far:
K5 + 18-55WR / Post Processed IR Conversion
K5 + Tamron 70-300 @ 300mm / Post Processed In-Camera
K5 + 35mm 2.4 / Post Processed In-Camera
What I was able to find out this time around:
* I miss the resolution, the feel, and the colours of my GX-10 (K10D). I'm not saying that it was better (probably is!) but I'm sure the K5's CMOS will grow on me in time.
* The DA 55-300 which I recently sold, was far more sharper than the Tamron, focuses much more faster, and it was a better lens overall. Still, given the choice I would still buy the Tamron if it was being sold at £70 (which I still am! Sales plug! LOL).
* I'm really missing the grip. Here's to hoping that another deal comes up for a genuine one at sub-£100 in the classifieds.
* I'm starting to like the DA 35 2.4 as a walkaround lens. Very usable wide open, fast and I hate to quote a term we use freely with another company (Apple), but with this lens: "it just works". I'm still getting used to 35mm.
* The built-in filters of the K5 are very capable. I enjoy using them, and it looks like that I'll continue using this feature.
Well that's it, I'm off to China Town in London tomorrow to try getting some snaps of the festivities. I've already attached the 35 2.4 based from my last trip there, it's going to be the main performer!
