Chinon auto?

Would a Pentax K auto Chinon be the same as a pentax A i.e manual focus but auto exposure on my GX20?
Sorry if it's a silly question but i am new to pentax/samsung camera's.

There are no silly questions Roy. Just silly answers. Here is an example of the latter. Why would you risk any kind of damage to a wonderful camera body like the GX20, by putting something Non Pentax on it. Why spend a lot of money on a Dslr, and then go the cheap route for the lenses. There are many examples of malfunctions and serious damaged digital Pentax body's because lenses like Chinon, Ricoh and some other old days brands did pretend to have a pentax K bayonet. Don't risk it, not for a few lousy quid. Stick to original Pentax if you go the MF route.
