Chester Visited

Just a quick note to thank all of you who gave me suggestions for my Chester trip on Thursday - especially those who recommended the Brewery Tap - what a fantastic old pub!

Unfortunately - the one thing I had not taken in to account was that I was visiting during Wimbledon and Glastonbury - ergo the weather was bound to be far from perfect! So photographically not the best of trips but very enjoyable none the less.

I will not bore you with the poor light tourist shots but will share the one below that appealed to my sense of irony. No photographic merit - just look at the road sign under the traffic light and then the signage and window graphics of the business to the right of it - well it made me smile

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Glad you enjoyed Chester.
Maybe next time conditions will be kinder.
