For me, that stalk is pretty bright and draws my eye straight away so maybe tone that down a bit?

Thanks Gareth, I've toned the stalk down a tad, the image was pretty much straight out of the camera and it was all natural light on the kitchen worktop but with doors and blinds etc closed to ensure the tile's were as black as possible

Gorgeous Chris. I much prefer the bright glowing stalk, it takes the image into sci-fi territory...
