Im pretty much set on getting the K10D but thought was a pretty good deal.
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-6026.aspx
Accessories Included : Twin Lenses: 18-55mm and 50–200mm Schneider Kreuznach, lens cap, dust cap, strap, cables & software drive
worth buying for the lenses alone and selling the rest on Ebay?

The camera is not worth anything (or very little).
I think that I have realised what your secret plan is :-
Get into the Guinness Book of Records for the maximum number of posts before actually buying a camera
I have lost track of whether you have any existing Pentax lenses, but whether you have or not, at least get on and order a new K10D before there are no more left

Get the K10D (body only) from your favoured supplier, and buy the Samsung kit from Tesco. Sell the Samsung body in it's unopened box and you'll have two very cheap Pentax lenses, but with Samsung badges.
Job's a good'un.

When the Samsung comes I will keep the 50-200 lens and sell the body and 18-55 on Ebay brand new .. should clear what I paid on that from what I have seen.
The 50-200 will then owe me nothing.

The Samsung GX-1L or Pentax *ist DL would be the worst choice of the Samsung/Pentax models. You'd have the inferior type of viewfinder AND no Shake Reduction
and also no multi-point focusing, iirr.

K10D - a very wise choice
Good luck with your new kit.
We look forward to seeing some photographs from sunny Spain.

Aside form the Medium Format and Optio sections, this forum deals almost exclusively with Pentax K-mount lenses (which were designed for 35mm film cameras). The Pentax digital SLR cameras also use K-mount lenses, and every K-mount lens will fit every Pentax DSLR.
Some of the older ones, however, do not lend themselves to automatic exposure metering. These are the SMC Pentax-M lenses, and the SMC Pentax lenses (without a suffix to the word Pentax). But if you don't mind metering manually, they will work just fine.

Edited to insert "almost" before exclusively. I'd forgotten Mac and his Spotmatics.

The *ist D is slow when processing and saving pictures (especially if you shoot RAW). Apart from that, it's a superb machine. Unless you use your camera like a machine gun, you'll love it.
