Now that's different thinking. I think that first has a Japanese feel to it.
The last time I went up it was a lovely golden lit evening sun with some cloud for a brief few minutes. The scene in front of me was wide and the foreground had a lot of well defined shadow. I could not get what I wanted
There was another guy there who by the time he had set up his tripod and camera he had missed the moment! He said it was his third time in as many weeks trying to get a golden hour shot.

I will be camping a short walk away from the Castlerigg stone circle and the weather might be interesting in the evening. Any suggestions for getting away from the cliché images.
