Can you help me price these items?

Hi All,

I've got a few Pentax items that I'm thinking of selling but I don't know the going price for them. Any suggestions on an asking price would be much appreciated! All items are less than 4 months old, boxed and I have receipts for them.

Pentax K3 body unsure of actuations but it's in the low 1000's and it's never been taken out in rain etc. Boxed

Pentax da 50 1.8 boxed

Pentax 18-55 wr. Brand new and boxed.

Original battery grip for K3 boxed and as new.

Spare 3rd party battery

Sigma 17-50 ex hsm lens.

As I said I'm just looking to price it all to see if it's worth selling!

I took a look before work today and uploaded a pic to a Pentax shutter count site. The k3 body has a shutter count of about 650

K-3 - approx £450

50mm - £80

18-55mm £50

Grip - £100

Battery - give it away with the grip

Sigma - which one, there have been quite a few but if it's the newest one around £350 maybe.

All valuations approximate ... remember that the prices of photography kit can go down as well as .... down

May I suggest two ways to cost them.
(1) Get an offer price from a respected dealer then add a bit on.
(2) Look up the price a respected dealer is selling at and take a bit off.
That way you get a bit more than a dealer would offer and the buyer would get them for a bit less than a dealer would charge for them. "SIMPLES"

Thanks Vic, that is actually a good idea!

.... as above and/or look at sold prices on Ebay - that is the real market value. You will get about 13% less than that after you pay your fees though unless there is an offer on. If you have some provinence you may get a bit more and most people on here can be trusted. (In my experience!)
